I remember getting this after graduating high school and just moved away about how much P.O.D have matured. It has a more mainstream approach and more singles like Boom, Alive, Youth of The Nation, Satellite. Such a great album as POD really put their heart into the song writing and the band comes together firing off on all cylinders/5().

"Youth of the Nation" is a song by American Christian metal band P.O.D. It was released on Christmas as the second single to come from their second major label album, chiemenazoreplei.sieskapinplannexttizamoodspiwamenca.co was inspired in part by the school shootings at Santana High School and Columbine High School. "Youth of the Nation" was the band's only No. 1 hit on the Modern Rock chart and reached No. 28 on the Billboard Hot.

On September 11, P.O.D. released their fourth studio album, Satellite. The album's first single, " Alive ", went on to become one of MTV 's and MTV2 's top played videos of the year. The video's popularity, as well as the song's positive message, helped the song become a huge modern rock radio hit and it was Grammy nominated for Best Hard.

The metal world needed an album like Satellite in , just like it needed a band like P.O.D. to challenge longtime metal heavyweights like Tool and Korn for supremacy. The spiritual, emotional band writes songs about promise and hope -- songs that inspire you to celebrate life, not despise it.
