Jun 14,  · Basically, Humoresque is a film about Joan Crawford’s face, that marvel of early make-up call architecture and brutal star self-will. Dedicated to making drunken self-loathing as glamorous as possible, Crawford’s Helen eventually takes an awe-inspiringly silly minute death walk into the sea, accompanied by Wagner’s Tristan and Isolde and dressed in a glittering black Adrian sheath with 3/5.

Humoresque (DVD): Glamorous socialite Helen Wright takes what she wants - clothes, alcohol, men - and uses them up and tosses them aside. Then she meets a brilliant young violinist, Paul Boray. But this is one toy she can't break.
